you thought i was going to say we're going to martha's vineyard didn't ya? ha. no way sister. and miss out on all this 'it's 68 degrees, oh no wait it's snowing' weather? no way.
my tuplis are popping through though and i do have open toed shoes on as i type this so things are still pretty good.
as for martha, ... that's the detox we've decided to do. the Martha's Vineyard 21 day detox. (it's also called 21 pounds in 21 days but weight loss is so not the goal here). I've researched it and it seems to be one of the most wholesome yet manageable detoxs out there. it removes from the body food toxins, metals, household toxins, water toxins, environmental toxins, toxins in products we use, ...and, say it with me, ...parasites! it's big on removing parasites. that is perfect for john. it's also safe for someone who is getting over an illness (some are too harsh). it seems balanced from what i can tell, though i'm not done reading up on it yet.
we have also agreed that we both want to start walking. this is good for him b/c any intense activity can trigger a relapse so walking is about as good as it gets besides swimming. and it's good for me b/c of my hip injury. (no more running for me, boo hiss).
in any event, that's our new deal. not sure when we're starting yet. we do fish dinners with the folks on fridays during lent and then there's easter, ... mmmm, ... ham. i know i know. bigger picture. whatever. do your own detox. i think we're starting on monday april 13, ... the day after easter. =)

What happened to your hip? What is your 21 day detox regimen? I finally just found the meatball recipe you called for many moons ago - still want it? You must be thrilled to not have to hope for losing weight with your detox and have that be the main reason for doing it! I am so proud of you - you look awesome in these pics in spite of everything else. -K
going to martha's vineyard sounds like more fun. :)
