so, after much research on this upcoming detox we're going to do, reading and cross referencing, thinking about it, noticing all the ways the plan works with john's limitations and all the ways the end results speak exactly to his needs, ... after all that, ... somehow i missed something.
i think it was referenced here and there, and yet somehow i missed it until PAGE 84. yes, there it was, on page 84, my new detox reality, ... we will be "consuming our nutrients in liquid form".
huh? liquid form? well, yes, juices and soups. right?
ohhh no. ALL nutrients are to be in liquid form.
F#%@!
now, do NOT start emailing me and telling me how crazy this is. i KNOW. save the key strokes. i KNOW. but here's the thing, everything i said in that first paragraph, and everything i said in the last post, ... still all true. nothing's changed. it's harder, yes. but this plan is still the best one i can find for john. it SO speaks to what he needs. and that is all that matters. let me remind everyone, 95% of disease can be linked back to environment and nutrition. 50% of all vasculitis patients relapse. 10% die.
so, say it with me, ... bottoms up!
april 13 is day 1 of 21. over the next 2 weeks we need to read more, get our heads right, get our kitchen right, buy a juicer, and make a plan.
so, that's what we shall do.
and do not worry. this program is healthy and balanced. it is chock full of nutrients, 24 servings of fruits and veggies a day (i don't eat that many in a week), eating every two hours. it educates about the three levels of food, the healing power of different food colors, how to make fresh soups, and how to choose a water (who knew?). it teaches about vitamins and supplements, natural antioxidents and digestive enzymes. it educates about how to shop smarter, about the systems of the body, the organs' functions, and it values the brain's ability to listen to the body. finally, it speaks to the whole person: mental, physical, spiritual, emotional. it's all good.
...it just doesn't let ya chew anything. =)
please do not fight us on this. please wish us well. we will need it. this will be so hard but so physically important. i'll keep you posted along the way.
thanks for your support.

what happens after the 21 days? you get to chew stuff again? but then aren't you re-toxing yourself or is it like starting on a clean slate? I won't fight you...sounds like it'll be really hard and a test of willpower but so good for you and JOhn in the end. Good luck!
Can I buy you a crazy straw?
I want daily posts. You may reach enlightenment at some point and I want to see the progression. My food allergies may be environmental. Hmmmm
