John (on a scheduling fluke) is working a 12 hour day today. Prayers for strength and quick recovery time would be very appreciated. This has the potential to lay him out for another full week. thanks.
next doc appt is this thursday the 20th at 10:45 am. will keep you posted. we don't even know what we're hoping for. he was supposed to go off the steroids at his visit 2 months ago but was doing so poorly they kept him on. he's actually a bit worse now than he was then, so i doubt they will take him off. that's not super b/c he's been on steroids (and in turn, insulin) for 11 months now which is incredibly hard on his body. on the other hand, the last time they decreased his steroid level he did NOT do well at all. it took his body quite a long time to adjust and it fought him every step of the way. it took months to sorta pull out of that and honestly since then he really has not been well. so it's not super if they take him off either.
limbo, ...it's a place we've lived in for so long i feel like we might as well hang curtains and call it home.
