john's back spasms continue. also, many of the symptoms that were happening last winter, right before he got so sick, have returned: the numbness in the extremities, especially the fingers often associated with hypersensitivity vasculitis, the nasal burning and congestion often associated with wegeners vasculitis. who knows.
we're not sure his body is reacting well to the decrease in steroids but what else can ya do? he can't stay on them forever. so, we wait. and hold our breath. and pray.

ps: on a note not associated with john, just fyi, my grandmother passed away this past tues evening. please pray for comfort for my family and that the kids cope well with this loss (a difficult blow after their pet guinea pig just died last week, all heaped on top of worry over their father's health). thanks for caring. k
