the father's day weekend was just as it should be, ...restful. we went to a movie, we hung out together, john squirted the kids with the garden hose to cool off from the heat, we went to eat, we napped (amazing grace), and we talked. it was all as it should be which is refreshing in this house. it was just what the doctor ordered (ya know, if he actually knew what was wrong and actually knew what to order. oh my. there i go being cynical. he's a good doctor, he just has no clue anymore. we are tired of him telling john that he is "a-typical"...code for "i have no idea". if john starts to relapse we've already decided that it's time for a change in the doctor department). but in the meatime, fathers day weekend was lovely.
