tea for two

woke up feeling better, but still tired. looking forward to getting into my jammies early tonight.
i have to say though, we feel good, john and i. this has all been hard but we feel good. and that's what's most important.

so, what's next? well, now that we've gotten the crap out of the cells and the lymph nodes, next is the kidneys, gall baldder and liver. i do know that anyone who has a chronic illness is NOT to do the gallbladder and liver flush so i'll be doing that on my own early next week.

the kidney flush is a tea that you drink one time a week for three weeks.
john and i will do that for the next three mondays in a row.
the recipe is:
2 bunches of fresh parsley
1/4 cup black cherry juice
1/4 cup distilled water
5 drops of golden rod tincture
take all of that and juice it.
drink only one half cup at a time followed by a cup of warm marshmallow root tea.
all in all, doesn't sound to bad.

i'm not sure right now what the gall bladder and liver flush consists of so i'll need to look into that. it's just for me anyway.

in the meantime john has not been drinking his parasite cleanse tea the way he's supposed to so i'm going ot have to start making it for him. if i make it, he'll drink it. it's the making it that's time consuming...
parasite tea (sounds bad huh?)
4-5 cardamom pods
1/2 stick cinnamon
2T fennel seeds
10 whole cloves
5 drops black walnut tincture
stevia, vanilla, or almond extract to taste.
break the shells of the pods. boil the spices in a quart of water until tea is strong. add teabag of favorite tea to tase. simmer. remove from heat and add BW tincture and flavorings to taste. drink.
see? pain in the patooty, especially if you're having to do that daily for three weeks (which he's supposed to). i think he's only done it once. so, we'll get on that.

john has been taking his protein mix with rice or soy milk here and there like he's supposed to (for those pesky parasites. they're hard critters to get rid of). he's been pretty good about that.

we're also supposed to be drinking indian tea here and there to assist with the body's cleanse but we've only done it once so i'll be paying attention to getting us on that horse too.
indian tea
4 cups water
1 stick cinnamon
4-5 cloves
1t fennel
4 whole cardamom pods
1/4 whole allspice clove
simmer one hour (one hour?! ugh. more time consuming tea). add stevia or organic vanilla to taste.
this is good for cleansing, increasing energy (man i need that today) and also is good for overall health of the stomach.

that's enough for today. i feel like i just toured the isles of a health food store with you.
