so john said to me today, "my feet are totally numb".
"what?" i said.
"numb. 100%. have been pretty much on and off for weeks now", he said.
uuuh, thanks for keeping me updated?

in his next breath, "i'm not feeling well".
oy! i didn't even ask how long that's been going on.

i knew that he was still sick, though it's so handy to try and live in a lovely world of denial. i also knew that working as many hours as long as he has been now would surely take a toll. but agian i say, De Nile is a river i enjoy boating softly on. come feel the breeze with me. fruity cocktail anyone?

so, enter reality.
john is still sick. better than last year for sure but still sick nonetheless.
we've GOT to get some decent staff before this goes to far. he needs rest and the ability to elevate his legs on a routine basis. his current schedule will not allow that.
request please: prayers for decent staff.
