so, john did not want to start the cleanse this week since he is trying to slide his way back into the work world as gingerly as possible considering he has one client right now that is high maintenance and few staff.
so, this week we've both started a mega dose multi-vitamin and tri-complex fiber.
i went ahead and started the 15 day cleanse as planned b/c it dawned on me that we have no idea what this will be like so maybe me doing it first will help him with what to expect (not that every body responds the same).
so far day one brought the most raging headache i have ever experienced with the exception of the one migraine i've had in my life. truly, i thought something in my head was going to rupture and i would slip into a quiet coma. it suuuuucked.
day 2 and 3 brought the most intense lethergy i have experienced since that first trimester of pregnancy. remember that? it suuuuucked. let's put it this way, i fell asleep at mary's girl scout meeting (luckily, i am not the leader this year. haha) while they were having 45 minutes of 8-year-old screaming relay races.
them: AHHHHHHHHH!!! WOOT WOOT!! YEEEEE HAAAA! AHHHHHHHH!!!
me: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
today is day 4. today i am to up the number of pills taken. today i have belly pains. there is somethin' goin' on in my intestine that probably should not be occuring in the workplace.
woe.
anyway, so, i think it's fair to say that i'm glad he's not doing this while also trying to reacclimate to the work world.
