yesterday was the 30th, happy birthday to me!

today is the 31st, happy new year's to you!

so far so good with the naturopath route we're exploring. there was a hiccup with the digestive enzymes but i'm going to wait before posting to see if it was a coincidence. more to come maybe, but hopefully not. hopefully it will work itself out. i'm feeling pretty positve about it. john seems to really be benefitting from all this so far.

we discussed how john's doctor isn't 'bad'. his goal was for john to not die. life. that's it. that was the goal. so by that definition, he succeeded. and we are thankful.
but beyond that, there's 'quality of life'. that's what we need now. and it seems that that is the goal of the naturopath: not just to be alive, but to feel like that's actually better than just dying and getting it over with (which is pretty much where the western doctor left us). so, we are going to stay with both and see where that gets us.

next week, ... a 7 system organ cleanse! yee-haw! (yuck).

anyway, here's to the end of the year. it pretty much kicked our asses. '08 can't end soon enough if you ask me.
may '09 bring good health, good health, and more good health. to us, you, and those we love.
