Happy November.
trick or treating was fun. watching john limp home the final leg and be swollen the rest of the night and ache terribly today, ...not so great.
but the memory was important and the leaves under our feet sounded like autumn should and someone in the neighborhood was burning a fire and the weather was perfect and people were plesant and the kids were troopers and there was candy and safety glow sticks galore and hearing my kids say "THANK YOU!" as they left each treat-bearing house without being told to do so was heart warming. Isaiah would yell, "have a happy halloween!" as he left each person's porch stoop.
man o man i love my family.
