john is not well.
unknown fever. (random, now seems to be down).
unknown spiked glucose levels. (apparently from blood clot??).
vasculitis spots are starting to come back. (from decreased steroids and no chemo???).
blood in the urine. (tests pending. possible infection. see 'unknown fever').
cold sweats. (this just makes him parsnickety).
unable to walk. (due to pain in left leg from the clot).
confusion and some loss of memory. (he is not aware of this. unknown cause).
tomorrow is saturday. the last two saturdays in a row we have had a child test positive for strep. i'm am hoping to not make it three for three. let's cross our fingers shall we?
this is about all i can muster this evening. it is late and the kids are sleeping in my room. that's what we do when john's in the hopsital; we stay together. two on air mattresses on the floor, one in the bed with me. they takes turns who sleeps where, rotating each night until he comes home and they return to their own rooms. it has become our routine, even on school nights. and i get the opportunity to hunker down and cuddle with my babies. so, that is what i will go do... i will rest and cuddle and pray, b/c it feeds my soul during this challenging time.
