he's running a low grade fever with chills but his spirits are pretty good. they're not sure why he's got the fever. the doc said that his white blood cell count is way down so they are taking him off the chemo and will put him back on once they come back up. huh? so is that good or is that bad? i wasn't there for that conversation and john was drugged from the colonoscopy so details on that are sketchy. i'll try and get more specific info tomorrow.
they've started the blood thinners. he should be home in a few days, hopefully.
the wacko room mate he had decided that he was tired of all this, ripped out his IV, and walked out of the hospital. i am very ok with that.
got the kids report cards for this quarter...solid grades, top of their classes, nothing but good things said by all teachers. excellent, considering the quarter they've had and the amount of school they've missed and then had to keep up with. (have i mentioned i am fundamentally opposed to homework in elementary school? but that's for another day)
