happy belated easter. we hope it was lovely for you all.
Jesus rose from the dead for us. how amazingly wonderful is that?

easter here was full of tradition which is good b/c it means that john was able to participate in all of it and enjoy just being normal for a bit. he's doing well and is in good spirits. his levels are still unpredictably random and his meds are still frightening but over all, there's ill and then there's crisis-y ill. he is "just" ill and the weekend was (health related) drama free. so we'll take it.

max is on meds, mary is on meds, john is on meds, ...at some point you have to either laugh or lose your mind.
we are choosing to laugh.
mostly.

we're hoping for a quiet week. next doc appt is friday. john doesn't have monday blood-draws anymore b/c they've decided to change it to fridays so it coordinates with his doc appts. (makes sense). so, he goes in for the blood work a bit earlier than his appt time and by the time they get him in they have his results. that way he doesn't have to keep going in twice a week and if there's anything that needs changing they can just address it at his appt time. perfect.

please continue to pray. i continue to feel weary and john is 'sick and tired of being sick and tired' (his words).
