The biggest area of change I've seen in John, and concern for me, is in his strength. While his spirits are good, the spots are disappearing, his swelling is going down, etc., ...he is the weakest I've ever seen him. I'm sure that this is normal for someone who has been sick for almost two months and is going through chemo-like medication and just had a biopsy, yes; and still, the loss of strength is just so different from anything I've ever known in John that it is the thing that unnerves me the most. He started 2008 at 243 pounds and is now 218. He has a hard time taking stairs, has difficulty walking, and gets wiped out much easier. Don't get me wrong, his spirits are up and today is actually the first day in a long time that I have seen his usual humor; nonetheless, he just gets so tired so fast. He tries to help with the kids and help around the house, and does to some degree, but then he sort of pays for it afterward b/c he's exerted himself with even the most simple tasks. Please pray for physical strength for him. Thanks.
We return to the doctor and get the biopsy results a week from tomorrow (the 29th at noon). Between now and then, he just needs rest and to build up strength.

Kim and John,
We're so glad to hear that John is able to, at least, be back home again during this trial. We will continue to pray for all of you.
